Many years ago went I started writing Journals, I would never openly share my ideas. Day by Day I would write the random thought that came across my mind, it was a jumbled mess of topics. After a while of this, I would encounter writing blocks. I would sit for hours with pen and paper and I couldn’t write. Nothing would out come out.
One night I was sitting with a journal at summer camp in the early 90s and I hit a wall, again. I was talking with someone about the block and the following idea was suggested to me. I took it to heart and started doing this.
Quote “When you have a topic, write it on the cover page of your journal” That way when you encounter a writing block, look at that page for inspiration!”
Well computers have replaced papers, and private journals are replaced by blogs, and sites like LiveJournal.com – I really need to see what I still have there.
Anyway This is now the page where I write my ideas and topic for the future post. I hope it will serve me well, and give you an insight into what I hope is coming to this page. My hope is someone will enjoy this blog as I learn to write better!
Management Insight –
Here I would like to provide some of the lessons I learned from being a Manager, Director of IT, and Instructor.

Mental Health – My Opinions Only –
My belief is such that everyone needs to talk about Mental Health in addition to physical health as a normal topic! Depression, Stress, and anxiety, all need to be out in the open. Anyone needs to hide it and don’t worry alone. I want this to be a safe topic.
Cyber Security and Hacking,
Let’s be honest, CyberSecurity is in high demand, The HighTech and IT are a basic necessity in life now. as long as there are Bad Actors, we need to be vigilant and be able to defend ourselves. My hope that this blog will help someone.
Hacking is fun, I have always had a passion for hacking something to make it work, sometimes better. I have a strong desire to know how something works and sometimes make work it better. Now it has been a long time since I broke into 3.1, 95, and 98, NT. But for some of us, it’s not the years by the mileage. I never keep my skills up as I had to adapt to the jobs I had at the time. This was always there, wanting to do more professionally as I could.

Learning Disablities – Invisible Disablitity – The can do it attitude.
Here I want to explore the side of the hidden or “Invisible Disability”.
Honestly, I hid my learning disabilities from everyone. I shyed away from anything where I had to write, or present. I thought that the more I hide it, the more people wouldn’t notice. I thought I could get through life without people noticing me. Well I am here to say this is 100% wrong.
People will make fun of you, for it.. Well, so what, in today’s society, people choose to hate, rather the like you for anything. Just this year I learned that there is more people out there with these invisible disablities than not. At more employer, there is programs, mentorships, and resources for all. I didn’t know any of this when I started my current role because I hid mine. I been here 4 years in July and only told my managers about 6 months ago.
- Topics I want to explore are;
- You are not alone.
- You are not “special” just a little different than you.
- I loathe the word “special” now. After 40 years of being in special, I really hate the word. In just my opinion, special was used when people gave up on you. I really need to look at what I hate it so much.
- You are important! To Quote a famous Doctor – I have never met anyone who was not important!
Addiction(s) from TV to Facebook, we are all Addicted.
While I hope this is not true, it seems that more and more people are. I think we all struggle with addiction at some point in life.
